Call for abstracts

Guidelines for Abstract Submission for E-Poster Presentations

Abstract submissions are invited for presentation at the 1st International Conference on Cross-Cultural Medical Education 2026, held at AIMST University on a hybrid platform.

Abstract details

  1. Abstracts are subject to approval by the Scientific Committee.
  2. Authors will receive acceptance or rejection notification by email from date to be confirmed 2026 onwards.
  3. Presenting authors must register for the conference by date to be confirmed 2026.

Submission rules & regulations

  1. Language: All abstracts must be written in English.
  2. Each author may present more than one abstract, excluding invited lectures.
  3. Submission deadline: Submit through the online system before the date to be confirmed in 2026 at 23:59 Malaysian time.
  4. Late submissions will not be accepted. Abstracts sent by post, fax or email will not be considered.
  5. The title should be brief but sufficient to identify the nature of the work. Include all authors’ names and the institution where the work was undertaken.
  6. The abstract body must not exceed 350 words.
  7. One table and a maximum of two references in Vancouver style may be included after the abstract; these are excluded from the word count.
  8. Use the following structure, with all headings in UPPERCASE:
  • AUTHORS/AFFILIATIONS
  • BACKGROUND AND AIM
  • METHODS
  • RESULTS
  • CONCLUSIONS
  • REFERENCES
